to Challenge on Learned Image Compression (CLIC)

Dear friends of CLIC:

We are pleased to announce that next year's CLIC 2027 will be again be co-located with the Picture Coding Symposium (PCS). This edition of the symposium will take place June 7–10, 2027 in Mexico City. Deadlines for submissions and papers follow a similar timeline as last time.

This time, we decided to keep the structure of the challenge largely the same, to provide more time for development and to ramp up participation over a longer period. The validation phase is already open!

For more information, go to https://compression.cc. We look forward to seeing you in Mexico City!
