Send Emails to users who have uninstalled the app

Hi Team,

We need to send email to users who have uninstalled our app for better reengagement.(for both android and iOS apps) What are the ways to achieve this? 

a.As per your dashboard and documentation, we need to create clever campaign and specify email template and clevertap will send email automatically. What will be sender email id that user will see in that email?

b. Can we get list of email ids of users who have uninstalled the app? Is there any email client that we can integrate with clevertap to automate this procedure?

Hi Vinay,

The first step to send email campaigns via CleverTap is to integrate your email provider with us - We integrate with most email providers like SendGrid/Mandrill/Amazon and even support SMTP Settings. To integrate your email provider, you have to go to the settings section of your CleverTap dashboard and go to the "Integrate Email" section and add your account credentials.

Once you have set up your email account, you can automate an email campaign going out to your users by setting up the "Tackle App Uninstalls" Clever Campaign. All you have to do is give us the content and then emails will automatically be sent to your users (the email id your user sees will be the once you have integrated with us)

You can get list of people who have uninstalled your application by going to the "Find People" section of your dashboard and then downloading all the people who have uninstalled your application.

What will be the cost for emails that will be sent by "Tackle App Uninstalls" Clever Campaign? Is it on the basis of number of emails that will be sent out?

CleverTap does not charge you for the campaign, its a part of our service offering. However, the standard rate your email provider will charge you will in fact apply.
