Hi there,

I was wondering whether the event limits (e.g. 1 million / month) solely affect user event tracking, or also have ramifications for event-triggered messaging.

For example, if I set up an in-app-message to trigger on event X, and then, through a combination of all user event tracking I exceed my account limit for the month, will event X still trigger the message or will it stop until the following month?

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

The event limits work according to the following:

If you exceed your current limits (1 million per month for the free tier), events will still come in and action/inaction-triggered campaigns still go on as usual. However, you'll just transition into the appropriate paid tier at the start of the next billing cycle (fees may be prorated based on the amount by which you exceed your limit).

Hope this clarifies your question.

Thanks,
Support.

Hi,

Do you give users the option of capping their expenditure / tier?  For example, if we wished to remain in 5m or 10m tiers or below.  If so, what would happen if we exceeded the limits in that case - specifically with regard to action tracking and to action-triggered messaging?  One assumes additional actions would not be tracked, but what about messaging in this scenario?

Kind regards,

Alex
