Hello,

Is it possible to take a picture and add it into a note? Conversely, could I take an image saved on my phone and insert it into a note?

Is CleverNote strictly plain text at this point?

Thanks,

Brad

Yes, and no.

Our focus is very much on textual notes (both plain text and richly formatted), but we're not closed to the idea of media attachments (image, video and audio).

Every time we've discussed the issue, we struggle to decide whether a note should have one or more attachments, (eg. like an email), or that an image should have one or more notes. Having said that, our Evernote import does attempt to deal with images by embedding them into a formatted note.

Generallly we see CleverNote as working in conjunction with the range of services and features provided by Google's apps. Thus we expect that people would generally prefer to see all of their images stored (for free!) in photos.google.com. So our preferred approach is to have notes that contain links that can refer to media stored outside of CleverNote.

Hope that makes sense, but your thoughts are very much appreciated in shaping the next version.
