Refreshing didn't help...

That looks as though a Javascript error got thrown during the initialisation. If possible, please could we ask you to open the Javascript console (ctrl-shift-J) and then do a full reload (ctrl-shift-R) and note any errors. Could you also let us know the version of Chrome you're running (Settings/About Google Chrome).

Also, (this won't fix your problem), we're trying to retire the clever-note.appspot.com URL in favour of www.clevernote.co. Unfortunately, Google search insists on promoting the former.
