I just heard about Spool of Thread, a Sewing Lounge that is opening up
at Fraser and Kingsway in Vancouver. It sounds cool, and I thought it
might be up some of your alleys. They're supposed to have fabric and
notions, patterns and sewing machines you can use. They also plan to
