Greetings, fellow devotees of the round board!

I just saw a thread on reddit.com/r/crokinole that reported that Mother's California Gold spray wax been reformulated, and the new formula may not be as good for Crokinole boards as the old one.  The new formula includes ceramic polymers that are grippier than the old type.  The thread recommends Turtle Wax Express Shine Spray Car Wax or Griot's Garage Spray On Wax, neither of which contains ceramics.  Browncastle Games sells the Turtle Wax on its web site.
