The Inventors Connection of Greater Cleveland is happy
to welcome guest speaker Eric Paul Rose to their July 27 meeting at the Cuyahoga
County Public Library’s Parma Branch, located at 6996 Powers Boulevard, in
Parma. The meeting starts at 7:00 P.M.. Eric is a product innovation and
management consultant who provides to startups, entrepreneurs, and established
companies the expertise to move new products from market opportunity into
marketplace reality.
Eric has more than 30 years’
experience in product innovation, product development, commercialization, and
project management. He has worked in the consumer, medical, and industrial
product industries with companies ranging from startups through Fortune 500
firms.
A Cleveland Heights native now based in Los Angeles, CA,
Eric Rose serves clients throughout the United States and worldwide. Eric’s
areas of expertise include new product innovation, new product strategy, project
planning, program management, and product innovation education. He specializes
in evaluating existing New Product Development processes, identifying areas of
opportunity and enhancement, and implementing improvements.
He
has been certified as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP) by the
international organization, Product Development and Management Association
(PDMA) since 2008. This NPDP certification allows his clients to know he brings
both breadth and depth of product innovation expertise to their new product
opportunities.
Recognized as an industry expert, Eric’s latest
article is featured on the 2013 Issue 4 cover of PDMA’s Visions Magazine. His
experience spans a wide range of industries including healthcare, industrial,
and consumer products. He has worked with companies including Intel, Mattel,
Disney, Sunrise Medical, Discus Dental, and American Hospital Supply (now
Baxter). Eric is an Adjunct Professor of Product Innovation at Pepperdine and
Loyola Marymount universities and a Student Mentor at the USC Greif Center for
Entrepreneurship. In May 2012, Eric founded the Inventors’ Mastermind SoCal
Meetup, a group of inventors and product entrepreneurs who are passionate about
bringing new products to market and who share best practices in how to do this
most effectively.
