One writer wrote: If I say, "Yes, I forgive your doings, but can not forget it," as if God, who twice a day washed away all the sand on all the beaches on the entire face of the Earth, it cannot be washed away bad memories of that sort of my mind, then I don't know nothing about love of Calvary.
Calvary's love of God's forgiveness showed remarkable for humans should be destroyed. Note the reprimand of God through Isaiah: people have forsaken God by sin, sadden him with errors. Very fair if they are destroyed. However, God wills to remove their sin, and no longer remember them (verse 25). Isn't God our Reminder? It's unlikely He forgot their rebellion. He is not "relived" shows that He is not going to increase it's sins are opposed to and judge them.
"Forgive" often become obstacles for many people. When feeling hurt, treated unfairly, harmed or betrayed, oftentimes we keep anger against those who hurt us, even vengeful. Maybe we say that we are willing to forgive, but not our hearts. Who are we? The people who should be on and destroyed! However, God is willing to forgive us and forget our sins! More offends us from God so that we don't have to forgive our neighbour and forget his/her mistakes? Let's gift and help him, then forgive. Forgive and forget.

Good morning my clergy family.

Dear all,

Indeed we are all shocked by the news of the untimely death of Fr. John Mwamasi who has been an immeasurable help to me in this Parish in his retirement. He never relaxed selflessly helping pastoral duties at any time to serve the Lord. It is indeed a huge loss. I last met him on Sunday a week before last on his way to St. Paul’s Church his nearest congregation. The Church is on top of the hill so I found him with his wife at the bottom of the hill saying that he felt he couldn’t make it the church because he felt that his Blood Pressure was going up. I took him on my bike home before I proceeded to the same church to say mass. When I visited his home today I was able to talk to one of the elders who said he talked to Fr. John Mwamasi today around 10sh in the morning. The village elder said, met Fr. John near his house where the elder was tying his cow. Fr. John said he was feeling better and had talked for some time on a number of community issues. At the end of their conversation Fr. John invited this elder to his house for a present. Fr. John went into the his house and come out with a nice jacket. This elder was surprised and exclaimed “why are you giving me such a nice jacket!” Fr. John answered, “ you elders need to dress nicely sometimes when you go for the meetings”.  The elder went away quite happy with the gift. He could not believe his ears, when around 4pm he heard the news that Fr. John had passed away.  So too are the many of us.

Let us cherish the good memories of his life and pray for his soul to rest in peace.  Let us also pray for the bereaved family as they pass through this difficult time.
My sincere conolencies to the Bishop, Fr. Clement and the entire family and all the clergy of the Diocese of Northern Malawi

Thanks you our Canon for this comprehensive report and you can keep up dating us on the same.

Burial will be on Saturday and I would like to ask each one of you to be available more those of you from the mainland.

How I wish Fr. Nyirenda could make it to come for this funeral but its a big challenge.

We are planning to at least take all the clergy from the Diocesan office if we can not manage with all the clergy wife.

We shall leave on Saturday but if the Parishes can manage to give you our brothers food and accommodation there is no problem to leave tomorrow.

The guest house will be open in Mzuzu but food allowances I ask should come from the Parish. This will help us to start early in the morning.

Indeed the world isn't our home. Taking into consideration what Canon Leslie has narrated, I've been tongue tied and confused but because our creator God said it, then I'm strengthened considering the fact that we're all going the same direction.

Let me pass my sincere condolences to the Bishop, Fr. Clement Mwamasi and the entire family, and the clergy of the Diocese of Northern Malawi.

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Many thanks my Lord Bishop to plan to attend the burial on Saturday and bring as many clergy as possible. It will indeed give the service the dignity it deserves. May I request one of the coming clergy not forget to bring the censer for I do not have one. It is expected as is our tradition that mass will be celebrated at the funeral.
