A bit off topic, but this looks interesting.  I hear Revol uses Erlang quite a bit.

Dear Nick,

Brad Nellis from NEOSA here.  As a NEOSA member, I just wanted to send you a quick note about next week’s NEOSA Developers SIG:  Software Architecture.  This session is designed for programmers and developers focusing on:

·         the structure or structures of the system, which comprise software components, the externally visible properties of those components, and the relationships between them;

·         understanding and incorporating the perspective of users, operational support, maintenance, and others

Our presenter is Rick Moran, Director of Application Development at Revol Wireless.  Rick is a systems architect with a particular interest in cost effective highly scalable systems.  He has spent the past 15 years analyzing existing software architectures, and designing new ones that increase cost effectiveness.  Rick has had the opportunity to help many companies realize reduced costs by implementing software architectures that are unencumbered, fault tolerant, and fun to work with.

Date:  Wednesday December 9

Time:  7:30a – 9:00a

Location:  Corporate College West

(25425 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake)

More info here

We’d love to have you join us for this informative session, or please feel free to pass this on to members of your development team(s) as appropriate.

Have a great weekend!

Best regards,

Brad Nellis
