Hi all,

I apologize for the slightly off-topic post, but I thought there was a chance someone in this group might be interested.

I have accepted a new job overseas and am trying to cull my collection of stuff.  One item I came upon is about two file-size banker's boxes with older computer books. There's something of a mix here: there's an IBM 360/370 programming book and some DECsystem 10 manuals, some C64 and TRS80 books, and various manuals for the Z80, 6502, and a few other processors of similar vintage.

These would all be free-to-a-good-home.  There's nothing here that's worth that much money-wise.  I have a few months until I leave, so there would be time to make arrangements to pick up/drop off the books.  I'm on the west side of Cleveland, but I go to the east side a couple times a week (at least for the next month).

Please feel to contact me off-group if you're interested or want more details.  Feel free to forward this to anyone not on the group who you think might be interested.

I'm hopeful I'll make a few more clepy meetings before I go.  I might even agree to do a minitalk on some of the cool stuff I've been doing in Python lately.

to cl...@googlegroups.com, The Makers' Alliance Discussion List
I recently started a thread on the Makers' Alliance list talking about starting up a library at the hackerspace. We'd love to take the books off your hands---I'm sure we could put them to good use as the seed of such a library.
