Music will not load

to Clementine Music Player

New install W10, Dell 7810. Dual Xeon with toms of memory. No issues with the install, opens just fine. Attempting to load music it states "Loading Music 100%" but loading music never happens. Waiting up to an hour, never made any difference. Deleted with Revouninstaller, loaded an earlier version, still will not load music. Where do I need to look?

Make sure your music player has the necessary permissions to access your music files. Right-click the music folder and go to Properties > Security. Check if the music player has permission to read the folder. If you want to download safe and free ringtones, you can visit Shortringtones.com

Make sure that the music files you are downloading are in a format compatible with the music player or application you are using. Popular formats include MP3, WAV, AAC and FLAC. If the files are in incompatible formats, consider converting them with a free tool like Audacity or online converters. Or download Soundboard for example

How are you adding you music?
Open Preferences>Music Library>Add New Folder
Using the add file/folder from the main menu can be problematic for large numbers of files
The speed of your computer can affect the time it takes to do the initial scan
My 150g of music will take around 1/2 hour on machine with 8g of ram

I don't know what operating system you are on, but deleting the configuration file can help, uninstalling can leave it behind
