Description
-----------------------------------------------
The Latin-American Symposium on Dependable and Secure Computing
(LADC) is the major event on dependability and security of
computer systems in Latin America. LADC 2024 will feature
technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, fast abstracts,
keynote talks from international experts in the area, and an
industrial track.
The Symposium is promoted by the Special Committee on
Fault-Tolerant Systems (CE-TF) of the Brazilian Computer Society
(SBC). LADC’2024 will be co-located with the XIV Brazilian
Symposium on Computing Systems Engineering (SBESC), in Recife,
Brazil, November 26 to 29 2024.
The LADC Fast Abstract track is an excellent opportunity for
authors to share 'preliminary results', speculate on new
directions to open problems or present challenging or
controversial issues. The submissions are short manuscripts
(2-pages in ACM double-column format) describing unpublished,
in-progress, novel work, opinions or ideas that can address any
relevant issue to dependability, including fault-tolerant
architectures, protocols, and algorithms, models for performance
and dependability evaluation, as well as experimentation and
assessment of dependable and secure systems and networks.
All aspects of dependable and secure systems and networks are
within the scope of LADC, including fault-tolerant
architectures, protocols, and algorithms, models for performance
and dependability evaluation, as well as, experimentation and
assessment of dependable and secure systems and networks.
Authors are invited to submit original papers on research and
practice of creating, validating, deploying, and maintaining
dependable and secure systems and networks.

Academics and industrial practitioners are invited to submit
fast abstracts limited to two pages (ACM double-column format
https://authors.acm.org/proceedings/production-information/taps-production-workflow).
Accepted papers will be published in the SBC Digital Open
Library (
https://sol.sbc.org.br)
as a supplemental volume of the LADC proceedings. If accepted,
at least one author is committing to present the paper at the
conference. Papers must be written in English. All submissions
are single-blind.
