Plugin is not getting font size when using Google Chrome

Hey guys, I hope someone can help me out here.
I need to store the size of the font in my database. For some reason, when I use google chrome my code won't get the size of the font.
This is what I get from chrome
<font style="font-size: xx-large;">Test text size</font>
This is what I get from Firefox or IE
<font style="font-size: xx-large;" size="1">Test text size</font>
Is there any way I can get this same parameter working on Chrome?
