Losing focus causes crash/freeze on IE11 with multiple CLEditors

If at least two CLEditors are used on a webpage, losing focus in one causes the Internet Explorer 11 to freeze or ultimately crash.

It can be reproduced using the following steps:
1) open https://jsfiddle.net/baschtel/up7zts6h/ in IE11
2) click into the first editor
3) switch to another program using the mouse/alt-tab
4) switch back to the IE by clicking directly into the second editor

I've used jquery v1.4.2 and 3.1.1 and CLEditor versions 1.4.4 and 1.4.5.

The IE-profiler suggest a problem in the method 'restoreRange'.
