Wed Oct 16th, 8pm - A Tribute to Tom Crean
A special music and singing session in honour of recently deceased member, Tom Crean, the highly-regarded singer and founder member of the Club.
Tom had a long association with Liberty Hall, where he worked as a union representative following the amalgamation of the FWUI and the ITGWU in 1990. Before that he combined his life-long love of singing with his duties as an official of the Workers Union. Fear-a-tí for the night will be uilleann piper, Noel Pocock, ably supported by Jimmy Jordan, both union colleagues, and a grand assembly of singers and musician friends of the late Tom Crean.
