Steering and Outreach Committees

Hi everyone,

We would like to invite active members of the ClearlyDefined community to vote and be part of the elections for the Steering and Outreach Committees as discussed in our last Community meeting on September 9. 

The individuals that are part of the proposal for both committees are already actively leading the project, but we felt it was important to formalize these roles as part of our charter.

On the 25th of September we'll vote for the Steering Committee and on the 7th of October we'll vote for the Outreach Committee.

Hello ClearlyDefined community,

Lynette Rayle, Qing Tomlinson, and Jeff Mendonza have been elected to lead the ClearlyDefined Steering Committee. Respecting the charter, they’ll serve for one year (starting Sept. 25, 2024). The committee structure follows the recommendation of having an odd number of members (3 currently) and a maximum of one member per company. The new elected members will select who will serve as the Chair and may invite other active members of the community to be part of the committee. Congratulations to the first Steering Committee of ClearlyDefined!

Hi everyone,

Jeff Luszcz (GitHub), Alyssa Wright (Bloomberg), Brian Duran (SAP), and Nick Vidal (OSI) have been elected to lead the ClearlyDefined Outreach Committee. Respecting the charter, they’ll serve for one year (starting Oct. 7, 2024). The committee structure follows the recommendation of having a maximum of one member per company. The members who attended the Community meeting reached a consensus on having an even number of members (4 currently) given that the Outreach Committee is less likely to require a tiebreaker. The new elected members will select who will serve as the Chair and may invite other active members of the community to be part of the committee. Congratulations to the first Outreach Committee of ClearlyDefined!
