I am not as interested in very detailed web file explorers like eXtplorer (extplorer.sourceforge.net) or AjaXplorer (sourceforge.net/projects/ajaxplorer). I'm more looking for a more simpler, editable explorer.
Windows will only let you access the NAS using one credential at a time (that is a windows issue, not in the NAS). There is a trick though - the PC credential management treats the IP address and the NAS name as two different machines, so it is possible to use the cloud credential for the name, and the admin credential for the IP address.
If the test works, then you can open the windows credential manager (it is in the control panel; win 10 will also find it if you enter "credential" in the windows search bar). Delete any credentials for the NAS that are there already, then enter new windows credentials for the NAS (either using "admin" or your cloud account - or both if you like the trick). That should solve your difficulty connecting.
Now when trying to use user:admin, then get System Error 86 - specified network password is not correct
When trying to use user:nascloudusername, then works fine (like it did from WinExplorer), but if I add the persistent switch when remapping this drive and reboot, windows wont re-connect and throws an error ref multiple users with same username (which is what I suspect you meant in your post and why we're trying to get the IP connection to use admin...

Php command line not detected (cache directory not writeable), this is NOT BLOCKING, but enabling it could allow to send some long tasks in background. If you do not have the ability to tweak your server, you can safely ignore this warning.

Suggestion : if your server supports HTTPS, set the AJXP_FORCE_REDIRECT_HTTPS parameter in the conf/bootstrap_conf.php file.

Suggestion : Set the AJXP_LOCALE parameter to the correct value in the conf/bootstrap_conf.php file

I have installed ajaxplorer succesfully but issue is that when i assign to one customer , the customer are able to access all domain ftp.
How shall i assign ftp to one to one user.
please guide.
I have not tried it out and don't know much about it, but sparklyballs has a pydio docker in his beta repo. According to a web search, pydio is the latest incarnation of ajaxplorer, which is a web-based file sharing and management application.
AjaXplorer is written in PHP. To install it, just expand the distribution ZIP file into your Apache DocumentRoot, which is normally /var/www/html. The distribution archive expands into a AjaXplorer-2.3-SNAPSHOT subdirectory. You will want to change the permissions for the directory and perhaps rename it to something simpler, such as ajaxplorer. Installation is shown below:
Owncloud may be another possibility. Primary benefit is... not cloud. You host it all yourself. Toss it into a VM, or grab one of those nifty Beaglebones, mount an SMB share off a windows box and go to town, for example. The result is similar to dropbox, but it is much more appropriate for an enterprise environment. Does both agent-based sync and URL / WWW interface with invites, etc.
For everything else we use FTP. Setup a general folder for each department. No clients necessary as FTP can be accessed from windows explorer of internet explorer or any other proper browser. Create 2 ID for each folder. Once with read and download only permission, another with read write permission. Then send a short instruction manual to the users. Something along the lines of type ftp:/ Opens a new window/ftpdomainip, copy your file here, give the other guy the ftp address and password, after they download delete file. So far works without issue.
BytesFall Explorer is an open source file sharing software that is released under the license GNU GLU. It is written in PHP and Javascript. If I create a file called "övrigt.txt" in windows, then the file will turn up as "?vrigt.txt" on my Linux pc (At least in the console, sometimes it looks ok in other apps in X). The same is true if I create the file in Linux and copy it to Windows, it will look just as weird on the other side.
I share my files in a number of ways, but mainly trough a web application called Ajaxplorer (very nice btw...). The thing is that as soon as a windows user uploads anything with special chatacters in the file name my programs, xbmc, console etc, refuses to read them correctly. Other ways of sharing is through file copying with usb sticks, ssh etc. It's really not the way of sharing that is the problem I think, but rather the special characters being used sometimes.
