Hello,

I have a mount issue in RHEL5 machine.
Our view storage is in NAS.

If I'll mount this path to the clearcase client machine, it's showing
Read only file system.

How to solve this issue ?

Regards,
Thobias

What is your NAS machine? NetApp?

Check the volume permissions in the NAS.

Thanks for your reply.

NetApp.

If I'll mount in solaris machine, I can able to write.
So I think there is no permission problem.

It doesn't prove anything.
Try to read first the /etc/export file on the NetApp
(typically in /vol/vol1 but my kowledge is only
based on necessarily limited experience, more
or less against administrators...)

The same qtrees may be exported with different
parameters to different hosts (standard nfs, in fact).
It may use host names, or nis netgroups (or else).
