I see the 'shill' markhoochuk on clear forums spouting the 3-5G usage
statistics for wireless being the national average.

He's right of course... for wireless hand-held devices... phones...
ipads... etc.

For the year 2009 and earlier...

However, current reports for 2010 show that HOME INTERNET USERS use an
average of 15-20G a month. This is your average home user... not your
more power-user who tend to watch more movies... this is your 'grandma
and grandpa' type person... 15-20G a month...

From the site: http://gigaom.com/2010/11/11/charter-follows-comcast-with-broadband-usage-caps/

....Currently Charter says the typical U.S. residential Internet
customer consumes between 15 and 20 GB worth of data on a monthly
basis when taking both uploads and downloads into account. Lamont
writes, “The usage thresholds defined within our AUP greatly exceed
current typical residential use and accommodate future growth.” I
reached out to Comcast to find out if changes in user habits had led
to increased consumption on its network, and spokesman Charlie Douglas
said that the usage was still pretty much the same on its network with
the median download for a customer being between 2 GB and 4 GB per
month. That’s a wide discrepancy between Charter’s data and even the
Cisco data that shows worldwide household Internet consumption is 14.5
GB per month.....

Based on these stats, markhoochuk is either shilling to get Clear more
popularity, or is honestly miss-informed about the statistics he keeps
thrusting down people's throats thinking he's right when in fact he's
off by 10 to 100 times from the home usage currently being seen by
respectable corporations like Cisco (who maintain the majority of the
backbone of the networking of the world...)

I personally will take Cisco's statistics over markhoochuk.

Someone feel free to cross-post this on Clear. My accounts got
removed.
