to CLEAR WiMAX Uncensored
Unfortunately, Verizon has no such trade-in program, as far as we
know.
But such a headline would be very much welcomed by CLEAR's unhappy
subscribers around the country and it would be a great way for Verizon
to snuff out WiMAX.
Did you hear that, Verizon? Just give CLEAR subscribers some sort of
credit for the nearly useless equipment they bought under the
assumption CLEAR's network was reliable and had sufficient capacity
and you'd gain tens of thousands of customers for your new LTE system
in a very quick time.
Ideally, the LTE installation and maintenance process would be so easy
a grandmother with little technical background could use it without
any problem. No need to reorient your modem from day to day or learn
about throttling or "BS SYNC LOSS"; no need to post questions to a
technical support forum.
Hopefully, a multi-billion-dollar company that prides itself on
coverage and system uptime---as Verizon does---will be able to
implement and maintain 4G in a way that can pass the "Grandma Test".
And since it is likely that most of CLEAR's biggest problems trace
back to insufficient capital to build infrastructure and engineer it
properly, maybe Verizon, with its massive coffers, will be able to do
what is needed to make every day work like the best day a CLEAR
subscriber has ever experienced.
