"Energy Informatics" will take place on 30th & 31st October 2013, delivered by the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, a partnership of the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University and Heriot Watt University.
The workshop will be hosted at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business School, with contributions from Microsoft Research Cambridge, ScottishPower, Sungevity, the Green Investment Bank, the University of Oxford and School of Informatics in Edinburgh.
There are a limited number of subsidised places for applied researchers; bringing the cost down to just £95 per person (which includes two nights accommodation). Those working on relevant areas of applied research should register their interest, submit a one page description of their work to Andrew Mitchell (andrew "dot" mitchell "at"
edinburghcentre.org) and be expected to do a short presentation at the workshop. Attendees will also be offered the opportunity to have a poster / stand to showcase their work at a networking event at the new ECCI facility at High School Yards as part of the two-day agenda:

The cost to attend for corporates is £395 per person and £197.50 for Scottish SMEs. These prices also include two nights accommodation.
