Sensible Cinema No Longer Working

I recently was forced to reinstall Windows to the latest version, and so I had to also reinstall Sensible Cinema. Now when I try to run the program, it pops up with the splash screen and then nothing happens. 
I followed some of the solutions I have read on here including adding the Smplayer to the Vendor folder, and and it seems like I can get a little farther, but the program keeps demanding I choose a folder to install the smplayer, and then nothing happens.

I appreciate what you have done with the PlayItMyWay, and it works well, by the way. But I personally need to get the program working because I have a lot of movies on my computer that need filtering, (not to mention filters I have spent time creating for them.)
