Hi,

I was trying to get your player up and running but every time I try and install in Windows 7 it tells me Smplayer isn't installed and needs to be downloaded. It then tries to download what appears to be a temp file of smplayer then crashes. I tried manually installing smplayer to the cache file and the same cycle plays itself out. Can you give any advice as to how to get it up and running?

Thanks,

Andrew Johnson

what does the crash look like?  Anyway basically sensible cinema has "morphed" into this as of the past few years: https://playitmyway.inet2.org/ (an online editor), FWIW.
Thanks!

Andrew,
The installer/program is looking for some files.  I had the same issue.  Here is a link to the files that worked for me in a google drive file.  Some I just placed in the same file where the temp file was created.  Others I may have had to install to those folders. One went to the "cache" folder and the other to the "mplayer_edl" folder.
Note:
The ffmpeg codecs that it tries to download when I tried to play MKV files, I couldnt find, so I renamed a different one to what it was looking for and that worked.
Good luck.
Blake

Actually, I think I found it. For some reason, when I clicked "Files," only the debug file appeared. After several tries, the Setup.exe appears too.
