Very Interesting ? on StackExchange that an Expert From This Group Should Answer

The question is here. There are a few answers there already, but I don't think they really address the spirit of the question (as I understand it).

I'd think that in a truly SOLID system, the tests would be the documentation and that's all the devs would need to look at. However, I realize that TDD isn't a strict part of SOLID proper.

In any event, I am very curious as to how others here would respond to the question posed there.
