Manager, Process Automation (OH-Cleveland) Position DJS101
The Manager of Process Automation manages and directs Process
Automation activities through the identification and cost effective
implementation of microcomputer, minicomputer and/or PC-based Process
Automation systems in conjunction with operating, Service and Staff
departments to achieve measureable improvement in productivity, Yield,
Production Costs, Quality, Manhours per to and Delivery. Search out
and identify operating problems and opportunities for process
improvement. Initiate and manage the creation, development, design
and application of computer-based systems, mathematical and
statistical models and methods required for their solution and
implementation. Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in
Manufacturing Automation, at least 5 of which have been in a
supervisory position. Technical Knowledge: Supervisory control
systems VAX/VMS computer environment Interchange of information among
Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 systems. Education: Minimum 4-year
technical degree with sufficient post-collegiate training to keep
up-to-date on advancements in Manufacturing Automation. Salary:
$65,000 to $72,000 per year
