Hello Local Network,
I hope everyone continues to be safe out there. I am hoping that some of you could assist me. I was wondering if those of you that have merged your Clerks and Librarian Assistants together into a new title could send me your generic job description? If you haven’t merged your two positions together, would you have an updated job description on the duties performed by a Librarian Assistant and Clerk?
Thanks,
Dustin Goforth

Sure,
We define at Aurora Clerks to man the desk and handle the library’s clerical duties (patron accounts, checking out material, paging, occasional reference questions) and library assistants we’ve kept more into a role of reference questions, reader’s advisories, technical/computer questions, some programming creation, and some basics leadership roles such as TAG leader or volunteer lead).
Thanks,
Dustin Goforth
