Parking: You can park in the parking garage below the library. The entrance is on Front Street which is the upper lot. The garage level entrance is at the back (west end) of the lot. Most of the parking in the garage is all day. Surface parking is listed for 2 hours.
The library opens at 10:00, but you can go to the main entrance, and someone will let you in. They'll also have staff nearby after 9:00 am to catch anyone running late.

Hi, Cindy!
I know the agenda isn’t always finalized beforehand, but is it possible to see the agenda items prior to the meeting, so we can gather info on the topics? Is it on the Google Groups page?
Thank you!

Hello Hien-
Sorry I couldn’t make the meeting today.
Here’s how Boulder PLD handles on-call staff (we call them substitutes): our sub budget allows us to cover the essential desk shifts when staff are on scheduled leave (PTO, dr appointments, some professional development) and unscheduled leave (sick time). Depending on the staff person involved, that can be up to 75% of their daily shift. Our first step to find coverage is to use any flexibility we have built into the schedule that day with non-essential desk shifts (mobile shifts or double coverage at a desk). For those times we cannot cover with other available staff, we often have our subs cover shorter shifts of 3-4 hours. If we are especially short-staffed and don’t have other staffing options for coverage, we will schedule a sub for a 6-8 hour shift with a meal break. We are realistic in sharing this info with subs during the hiring and interview process, so it has worked well over the past few years.
We have a centralized scheduler for our District (5 locations). This person is the supervisor for the substitute pool and communicates with them about shifts. In a pinch, site supervisors or managers can reach out to the subs as well.
Let me know if you have any additional questions!
Best,
Tim McClelland
