user list empty

hi,
I'm new to clckwrks.
Just installed v0.23.8, started the server, created two accounts and killed the server.
the server is now running again, I can login/logout, started clckwrks-cli _state/profileData_socket but it gave
%user list
[]
after
%user add-role 1 Administrator
%user list
[(UserId {_unUserId = 1},"")]

what should I do?

Hello,

This is an annoying bug due to the new authenticate library. It does not bother to create the ProfileData entries if the entry it would match the default value. You can, as you see, just add the Administrator role even though the user list appears empty. Then it will note that there is something interesting to save and will save the value. This should work and allow you to create an Administrator, but it clearly not a good user experience and has some other non-trivial side effects. So, it should be fixed.

please tell me more of the non-trivial side-effects; user/admin relevant or only for developers?
