Brothers,

Since I strongly believe that one of the best ways to make disciples is in the homes that make up the larger ‘household of God’, I was excited to receive the invitation to sign up for the upcoming webcast described below. It is joint effort of Lutheran Hour Ministries and Barna. I thought some of you might also be interested.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all at convention in Edmonton!

Please continue to encourage members of your congregation to attend as we celebrate 100 years of mission in Chad and hear about what God is doing today through us among the Bilala, the Bagirmi and Fulbe peoples!

If you haven’t already done so, please register at lbcanada.org and remind others to do the same.

Grace and Peace,

Roger

What Transforms a Home into a Sacred Space?

This event will illuminate the ways that practicing Christians’ core relationships engage them in a thoughtful, transformative faith—the kind that holds up to and is passed down over time.

Join us on February 26, 2019 from 11:00 to 1:00pm PST (2:00-4:00pm EST) for a free webcast presentation of the latest research on the households that make up today's Church. This is a perfect training opportunity for church staff, small groups, ministry teams and parents, with brand new insights and real life applications. You will learn:

  • The rituals and relationships that make a spiritually vibrant household
  • How different households grow faith—regardless of household type or season of life
  • The different ways fathers and mothers influence faith formation
  • How faith heritage shapes beliefs in adulthood
  • How churches and ministries can help create healthy homes
  • Practical insights for both parents and pastors
