An Invitation from Gangjin, Korea

Hi

Please share this with your ceramic artist friends it is our only way to advertise these events.

Thanks,

Arthur Kyung Jae Park

Morning Earth

Once again Gangjin, Korea is inviting all ceramic artists to apply for the Gangjin International Ceramic Exhibit in Korea.  This is a great opportunity to exhibit in Korea, attend free Korean ceramic workshops by noted artists, meet Korean ceramic artists throughout Korea and become friends with some fellow international ceramic artists as well.  All but the tour in Korea is free and the tour is heavily subsidized.  The deadline for applications is in March 2010.

Go to GangjinExhibit.Com to learn more and apply.

A True Story:

Robyn, an Australian, found an article in China about a Korean ceramic artist whose porcelain carvings were exquisite.  They inspired her work that was accepted for the 2009 Gangjin exhibit.  During the tour, we visited the studio of our friend Master Jeon, Seong-Keun.  Robyn was surprised and thrilled since Master Jeon is the artist whose work had inspired her.  We were able to make an arrangement so that Robyn could study two weeks with Master Jeon – for free.  Don’t miss the Gangjin exhibit, workshop and tour opportunity. You never know what will happen.

Again, to learn more about this opportunity and to apply go to GangjinExhibit.Com.
