Hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration, Ron. I want to take the opportunity to thank you for helping me have a delightful life in pottery. Your willingness to take up new challenges, advising and revising problematic glazes, for example, is extraordinary. I am deeply grateful.

We truly have been blessed with the founding members of Clayart keeping us going. The years have flown and it is hard to fathom that some of the great masters are putting away their wheels and chemicals. I’m only a little behind in years, but far from mastery. Nevertheless, I have surely grown from what I have learned here and thank you all. Now, I am starting to question the wisdom of buying 50 lb. bags of chemicals but I guess I’ll just keep going until I can’t.
