The years of Clayart are like a written history book. Some of the active people are/have been amazing and super knowledgeable and generous in sharing. My life is richer and fuller from having known them. Others have been a gateway to friendships that may have started with clay but which grew far beyond clay. Knowing so many of those people on Clayart encouraged me to know them better at NCECAs, which made it easier to deepen those friendships. I am so grateful to Clayart and to our moderators through the years.BonnieBonnie Hellman Sent from my Galaxy

hpLCupV...@mail.gmail.com>Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"Hi Guys. The voice of Clayart was once very loud. Through the years Icollected information about porcelain in a Word document.Have I ever told you that Clayart was my refuge when I was still learningto speak (proper) English? ....when I had to adjust to new raw materials inthe States after 20 years of working in South Africa.A funny thing was that there was always someone correcting my English inprivate.... today my children and grandkids correct me all the time onaccent and grammar! Most of all I learned so much from Clayarters... much more than I'll everlearn from social media; we had to read to understand, not look atimages....Now as I am working through this document for my (hopefully) futureporcelain book, I find so many golden nuggets; some reminding me of thingsand others just reminding me of the great potters that crossed my path overthe years.Best wishes,Antoinette Badenhorst*PorcelainByAntoinette <
