Diana died this morning. She was a great friend and brilliant
potter and teacher.
She will be missed. (there will be an obit in the Anne Arbor news)

Very sad news Mel. Thanks for informing us. I expect that Kelly Savino has heard. She got her MFA under Diana.

Oh, dear, I'm so sorry. I took advantage of her "Glaze Forward" project
in which she shared her research into cone 6 reduction glazes. My art
center adopted several of her glaze recipes. I no longer teach there,
and I don't currently have a gas kiln, but I still use her Chun in
oxidation. I think of her every time I mix that glaze.
