Hi Carol -
#1 looks like a pretty classic temmoku. #2 and #3 are both lovely, and I'd really like to hear your take on what mechanism is causing such a difference in appearance between them based on the fairly minor difference in the firing profiles.

Hi Vince #2 and #3 have different compositions, all is the same except
silica. #3 has less silica. I do not think the difference in firing
profile between the firing of #2 and the firing of #3 is relevant.
I'm rather sure its the difference in silica. In this family of
glazes, if sufficient time is provided in the downfire protocol to
grow micro-crystals, that shift from orange to green with increased
silica is common.

I guess I missed that. I thought they were the same glaze but with just the different firing protocol.
