Hi Carol -
Another stunner, and a lovely and very unusual yellow and blue speckled effect. I've been mixing all my own glazes for over 50 years, and I've never made one with nickel oxide in it. We had it in our glaze pantry at the Appalachian Center for Craft, and my students experimented with it, but never came up with a glaze that looks like this one. I am sure that had everything to do with firing protocol.

Hi Carol -
Both glazes are nice, but the first one is positively luscious. It brought a strong pang of nostalgia, because it looks very much like the linoleum on the kitchen floor when I was growing up in Berkeley, CA. I am sure many of our older Clayart pals will remember that kind of linoleum.

Keep at it Carol. What a wonderful gift to all of us.
