Troubles configuring

Hi there,

if I understood correctly, clawpack should be installed by running first

python setup.py

In my case this fails with the enclosed log file.

abonfi@DESKTOP-04AR6V6:~/src/clawpack-v5.10.0> echo $PYTHONPATH  
:/home/abonfi/bin:/home/abonfi/bin:/home/abonfi/src/clawpack-v5.10.0
abonfi@DESKTOP-04AR6V6:~/src/clawpack-v5.10.0> echo $CLAW  
/home/abonfi/src/clawpack-v5.10.0

 PATH and PYTHONPATH are set as above

I am using

abonfi@DESKTOP-04AR6V6:~/src/clawpack-v5.10.0> python --version
Python 3.11.9

on OpenSuSe Tumbleweed

Hi Aldo,

Depending on what packages you want to use we recommend just setting paths for the Fortran or using `pip` to do the installs.  There is more documentation at http://www.clawpack.org/installing.html.
