The Washington Geological Society already employs one tsunami modeler who primarily uses GeoClaw, and who I and other GeoClaw developers have worked closely with, and this is a great opportunity to join the team.

Hello,

I have some excellent news to communicate with you. The WGS Tsunami Hazards program is hiring a project-based Natural Resource Scientist (NRS2) Tsunami Modeler for what is anticipated to be an 18-month position working primarily on tsunami modeling for probabilistic tsunami hazard analysis. Please see the following webpage for the position announcement and details.

The closing date is 3/6/2025.

If you could, please distribute this to anyone you know or listserves you maintain that would be interested in this position.
