Trying to create a room, cannot update destination folder

I have a fresh install.. When trying to create a room I am told 'The upload destination folder does not appear to be writable. "   -- Not entirely sure what folder I need to give write permissions to?

 

Any and all help is greatly appreciated - I am a linux Novice!
