PHP Error - date and time

Heya all, 

I'm really hoping that this group is still active and monitored as I'm sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

I am a very inexperienced individual when it comes to websites and all associated knowledge and I have been recently put in charge of maintaining my schools website with an eye to re-creating it in the future.

We have been using this classroom bookings software for some time now and it has been working very well until this weekend.

It seems that there was some sort of a PHP update that caused a number of errors that you can find below, and they are appearing consistently through the site at any point that references the date and time.

I would greatly appreciate any help you may be able to offer to fix this issue and get us back and running.

I'll try and help you as much as I can!

The first thing I'm going to recommend you do is the easiest way to resolve the error. 

Create a new text file in the main classroombookings folder called "php.ini" (without the quotes).
In the file, add this line:

date.timezone=Europe/London

Hopefully, if supported by the server, that should prevent those errors. If not, there are other ways of doing it - but this is the simplest.
