Hello
Thank you for providing this application. It has great potential for
our school.
I have installed version 2 on my web server. I am getting the opening
screen but when I try to login by clicking on the login link on the
opening page I get a completely blank web page with, obviously, no way
to login. I have run the sql script. Can you provide me with more
information about how the pre-auth works? Any suggestions as to why I
am getting a blank login page?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
David

Hi David,

Sounds like you've not configured the login script properly. Assuming
you're running this app on a wampp/ xampp server, you only need to
unzip it and edit the
system\application\config\database.php
system\application\config\config.php

files. Once you've made the necessary changes here, browse to your
website (i.e. http://something.com/classroombookings) and you'll be
prompted with an installation page (at which point you specify the sql
install files).

Cheers,
Geoff

Hey Geoff
Are you referring to installation of version 1 or version 2? I tried
this method with version 2 and there is no installation page. This
method worked fine with version 1 although I am having scripting
errors in version 1 when I try to add a booking.
Cheers,
David

Hi David,

Yes, I am refering to v1. I too see scripting errors in v1 when I try
to add a booking and I suspect this is a result of using php5 (and I
believe the application was written for php4).

I've posted a question to Craig about this issue but have not yet
heard back.

Cheers,
Geoff
