Dear All again

 

We did have a CMCC meeting yesterday and resolved to :

 

  1. Go ahead with our annual ride late October or early November to west coast. See attached accomm place Citrusdal. See below notes UNDER ‘route’ …………TBA soon.
  2. Have our next meeting at Ian tichardt place again at end October.
  3. HB will procure sponsors ‘allegiance’
  4. Have our end of year at the ski boat fishing club again , in early December
  5. Have our AGM at the end of year event
  6. Update our database and website esp since a Chinese trading house has interfered ! help Brian
  7. HB to ask members to pay the R 200 annual fees for which I hereby do . See attached in the membership form middle part Capitec bank
  8. Upgrade our raffle items
  9. Visit Freddie and Toni at THE FORGE for next Sunday ride out. Off R 46 outside Tulbagh. Location Witzenberg Local Municipality -33.340077, 19.167793
  10. Re instate Ian Tichardt as an honorary member

 

MEETING NOTES BY CD

 

Attendees at meeting (26 Sept at Ian Tichardts home) (11):

Howard Boettcher, Howard Nason, Thomas Mackenzie, Cedric Bayer, Stan Mitchell, Ian Tichart, Dominic Gomes, Raoul Gomes, Mike Nevin, Swannie Swanepoel, Chris Davies.  Have I omitted someone??

 

Fees:

Stan Mitchell paid annual fees – added to Database.  Copy to be sent to H2 when I have searched the bank records supplied for the ones I may be missing.

 

Comment that attendance at Spring Ride and EOY function requires full fees paid.

 

Route:

Meet at Citrusdal Friday pm, 2 nights Citrusdal (not the Lodge) try caravan park for chalets, Elandsbaai route Saturday, home on Sunday am.

 

Accommodation:

Suggested stay Friday and Satuirday nights in chalets at Citrusdal CaravanChalet park.  Actually there are three other similar-sounding venues; namely Die Vlei Citrusdal, Blinkwater Caravan Park, Rivercamp Citrusdal..

 

Food:

Breakfast Saturday and Sunday – maybe available at venue?

Lunch Saturday: ?Elandsbaai, Lamberts Baai, ??? any offers?

Dinner Friday and Saturday nights:  Braai – sponsored for one?

 

Suggested dates:

Late October may be too soon, suggest first weekend in November (7-8 Nov 2020, Friday is 6th.)

 

School matric dates: 5 Nov-15 Dec.

Important dates: Dec 16 public holiday
