Works in Progress: Another gathering opportunity for Portland-area musicians

 Hi, everyone!

Portland offers a number of places where you can share your music with others. I'd like to let you know about one of these: a group called Works in Progress (WIP).

While similar to Classical Revolution PDX, we operate somewhat differently:

• We meet in people's homes, not in a bar.
• The events are intimate, with perhaps 6-12 people in attendance, and generally last around 2 hours.
• Because of the venue and event size, late entrances and early exits are discouraged.
• While most people perform classical music, other genres are welcome.
• Since we meet in people's homes, solos and duets work best. For anything larger, you might want to check with the host.
• We spend time socializing, but we don't do it during performances.
