My valfi tonight

Dear all,

You are cordially invited to attend my valfi tonight in H1 :-).  There is a cultural programme from 7pm onwards along with distribution of hostel awards and felicitation of outgoing inmates. Dinner should start by 8.45pm. There would be a dance party from 9pm to 10pm. And profile reading begins from 10.30pm and it begins with mine. :P The venue is the main stage where the cultural programme would have happened.

So you are all invited to attend my valfi though urged to not believe most of what my profile would contain :) And what can I say about the time I have spent in the institute - I have begun to lose count of it :P. Very briefly, it has shaped my life in a very significant way thus far and continues to do so. I am yet to come to terms with the fact that I am taking my valfi - it refuses to sink in! :)

Oh I forgot to mention... my mobile no is 98201 74623. Do give me a call when you reach H1 for dinner coupons. You can also call Iman (99305 45108) or Vishal (99207 36712) to reach me in case I am unavailable on my phone. I would be mostly with these guys.

Dear all,

I must admit that I am getting emotionally overwhelmed with people replying to me pouring their good wishes for me! I am so very grateful to all these people! Yet I must confess that while my valfi is soon to start in a few hours from now (and hence I will postpone my replies to after the valfi if thats ok), I am not passing out this year! :) In fact, in many ways my Ph.D. just seems to have begun! The mtech elec batch of 2008 is passing out this year and I am really close to all the people of this batch... for a long time I have been thinking of doing my valfi with these close friends... hence my valfi this year.... so this valfi is just an occasion to relive some memories here but not to give me a farewell :) (only the mtech batch can give me a farewell - that would actually be a relative one :P). In fact, I hope, this valfi itself becomes a memory to relive in the 'real' valfi later in the future... :D
Will surely mail you all when I get that small prefix to my name or am soon to get one .... :)
