No Burke Shelley and No Noddy Holder.
C,mon this is just a list of popular singers, much as i like him David
Gilmore is not a great singer.
We can do a lot better than this!!!!!

Bearing in mind that this was voted for by the public, then it becomes a
virtual popularity contest Fred.

Although there's no doubt some great singers on that list there are loads of
singers out there better than many on that list. Dave Meniketti is not only
a great guitar player, he's a great singer too, but because Y&T never
reached the heights that G 'n R did then Axl Rose will always be ahead with
the paying public.

I can't understand why Plant would be top of the list either, his voice
began to go years back before Physical Graffiti was released, whereas in my
opinion, Paul Rodgers voice is still as great as it was when he was with
Free.

For me Plant would only be top if Zep had only released the first 4 albums
after that, I didn't much like his singing.

I guess what I'm saying is that if people haven't heard of the other
singers, it doesn't matter how great they are, they won't get votes

Jamie; In my view a lot of those songs are not even the best songs by
the band let alone all time :)

Totally agree with you there Woody. Very predictable list of tracks
IMHO. The only real surprise being The Darkness "I Believe In A Thing
Called Love"

Justice at last
Today on Rock Radio in Manchester Noddy Holder was voted as the most
Underrated/under appreciated rock Vocalist.
He was interviewed and when asked who he thought was the most under
appreciated musician he went for …..Wait for it…… ..............Richie
Blackmore. Did'nt get to hear anything he said about other vocalists
though.

In the same poll for under-rated musicians to make up a band, Alex
Lifeson from Rush won the guitarist.

Didn't hear the drummer or bassist but has the makings of an
"interesting" band.
