Hey guys,

So I have a 1963 Cadillac Sedan Deville it starts up perfectly fine and runs fine. Yet the car is not getting any power to the windows, the headlights or tail lights at all. I still have to go through the fuses to make sure but I highly doubt those are it because they had been replaced not to long ago. I'm not sure what else would cause it. If you guys have any ideas or what to check for please let me know!

- Thank You

Check the fuse clips for corrosion. Too much corrosion, and the current wont flow from the fuse clip, to the fuse. The fuse may, or will test good with no load applied, but when the load is applied to the accessory, the current draw will be too much for the small contact area of the corroded fuse clip.

I am checking them now underneath the fuses there is some corrosion. whats the best way to get rid of that? Also on the back of the whole fuse box there are wires that are sticking out and they aren't connected to anything I'm not sure what to wire those to. I've attached pictures of front and the back of the fuse box these are the links:

I'm not sure how to wire the back up! Looks like it should be connected to other wires!

boy the back of that fuse box is a cobbled mess, someone did some backyard repairs!  the best way to get rid of corrosion is with a mixture of baking soda and water and btush on the corroded area then rinse, after you dry it off use some WD40

Holy crap!, nothing on your car will work, cause nothing is powered up. Your car will start, because thats on a different wire harness. Dont drive, cause your tail lights are out too. Best option right now is to see if anyone has a harness. I'm out right now, but will have a parts car in a couple of months. For now, connect the wires back together. To clean the corrosion, I use a dremel tool, with a small round grinder ball. It smooths the surface for a good contact.

Your best friend will be a 63 cad service manual. The wife put mine in a 3 ring binder for my annaversary gift. It was falling apart at the seams. The manuals are easily found on ebay.
