Hello Alumni!  I just received this email. May be useful to you.

Opportunities are Open at the Department of Labor

Since 1913, our mission has been to serve and protect American workers, prepare them for new and better jobs, and ensure the safety of American workplaces. This mission is more important today than ever before. That's why we are center stage in the drive to maintain America's leadership in skills and productivity, and transform the country's workforce to the new paradigms of this 21st century.

DOL Internship Program:

The Department of Labor (DOL) is excited to invite interested applicants across the nation to apply to internships that will provide students with unique opportunities to interact with dynamic leaders and learn how Department of Labor agencies operate to protect America's workforce.  Previous interns have had opportunities to work in a variety of areas including public affairs, speechwriting, research, legal work, human resources, legislative affairs, budget, contract compliance, and performance analysis. Students should have a general interest in the field of government, strong writing and research skills, and should expect to perform substantive work assignments, as well as general administrative duties. Students can seek internship placements at the DOL National Office in Washington, D.C. and at the Regional Offices (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco).
