Fellow rulers,
A big batch of updates has landed since our last note. The theme: find the right target faster, read the game at a glance, and get smoother, quicker turns.
Every order that needs a target - move a PC, send resources to a city, map a hex, move your capital - now has a little map button next to the target box. Click it, then click the spot on the map. Done.
Prefer the keyboard? Target lists are now filter-as-you-type: start typing Winterfell or 1415 and the list narrows instantly, and you can flip the sort between name and coordinate with one click. Whether you think in names or hex numbers, aiming an order is now a few clicks instead of scrolling hundreds of entries.
Click an allied character, city, or nation and you now see their orders the way you see your own: army paths and destinations drawn on the map, and full action details in the orders panel. It is strictly view-only - perfect for coordinating a team turn or checking the plan before the deadline, with no risk of changing a teammate's orders by accident.
Submitting is noticeably quicker now. Counselor confirms the moment your orders are accepted - watch for the green "orders synced" indicator - instead of making you wait while the confirmation email is built. Your receipt email now arrives a few minutes later (usually within 5 minutes), sent once the Judge has actually registered your orders, so it is an even stronger "the Judge has them" guarantee.
The Cities tab now colour-codes loyalty: a city in danger of shrinking shows red (critical) or amber (at risk), and the loyalty-change column is tinted so you can see who is gaining or slipping. Two new filters list just the cities that need your attention. Colours adapt to light and dark themes.
The Barbarians got smart. The wild nations no longer sprawl aimlessly - they mass on the borders they share with real players, press the nearest threats first, and scale to the size of the world. As players are eliminated, the survivors face fiercer raiders, and those once-untouchable island nests now may build docks, so your fleets can finally reach them. But they can also reach you. Watch your borders.
Multiple (3) CC emails now work too, check My Games CC list. clashlegends.com
If your antivirus ever wrongly flags the portable Counselor.exe, the Windows portable download now includes run-portable.bat - double-click that instead and it starts with the bundled, code-signed Java. Nothing for antivirus to object to, no install needed.
Counselor is free and open source, and now has a proper project page with screenshots and a feature tour. If you enjoy the client, a GitHub star genuinely helps the project: github.com/clashoflegends/counselor
