Catching you up - lots of new Counselor
A few updates have landed - here's everything worth knowing, in one place. Grab the latest and you have it all.
🎨 Choose your own map colors
Hard to tell the Barbarians from unknown nations on the map? Their white and grey can blend together - so now you pick the colors. Open Settings, choose a Barbarian and an Unknown color that stand out for you, and the map repaints instantly. A real help if you're colorblind, and nicer for everyone.
💬 Notifications that stay out of your way
Confirmations like "orders submitted" or "your actions are ready to send" no longer pop up a window you have to click away. They slide up briefly at the bottom-left and fade on their own, so nothing interrupts what you're doing. (Real errors still stop you, as they should.)
📁 Faster turn opening
A new Recent button next to Open Results lists your recently opened turns - reopen one in a click instead of hunting through folders. And opening a big turn now shows an "Opening..." overlay so you can see it's working instead of looking frozen.
📋 Export any list in one click
Right-click any list - characters, armies, cities, orders - and copy it with its column headers straight to the clipboard, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or email. Prefer a file? Choose Export to CSV..., pick a folder, and Counselor even suggests the filename. Accented names come through perfectly, in every language.
🎯 See how hard each order is
Your saved orders now show a Difficulty column, color-coded at a glance: red = hard, yellow = average, green = easy or automatic, blue = varies. Great for learning which orders are reliable - switch the colors off in Settings any time.
⬆️ Updates that actually update
Installing a new version now cleanly replaces the old one (no more "did it update?"). Mac players get a dedicated Intel build and a double-click launcher for the portable version. Counselor now also tells you when a newer version is available.

- Play again in one click - finished a game? Hit Rematch on My Games to start a fresh one like it.
- Final standings for every finished game, with the winner flagged.
- Team up with invitations - no more shared team passwords; invite teammates from the player list and they accept with one click.
- Get notified when a game opens - opt in to email alerts when a public game opens, fills halfway, or needs just one more player.
- Deadlines and countdowns now show in GMT, and you can turn deadline-reminder emails off if you prefer (My Config).
- Fly your flag and check the Statistics page to see what the community plays and how you rank.
