How can I test ResetStrategy r to decide what to do about resets

Happy holiday season and a very tiny xmas conumdrum to all.

What can I do with a ResetStrategy r argument in order to decide how to handle resets?

ResetStrategy True and Reset Strategy False are different types, each containing one element. If I test for the value of that element being one (NoClearOnReset) or the other (ClearOnReset), it fixes the type, so there is no choice available

There must be a means of deconstructing it into a constant two-valued type, like Bool., must there not?
